In this complex world, it is not possible to fully awaken without healing; and it is not possible to fully heal without awakening.

In this six week introductory course on Integral Zen Healing taught by Doshin Roshi and Janel Jiryu, we drew upon teachings of Zen, Ken Wilber, Carl Jung, Subtle Energies & Chakras, and the Medicine Buddha. An Integral Zen path and practices are presented based upon the 7 chakras paired with Integral Developmental Structures and State Vantage Points.  Using the Wilber Combs lattice and Shadow dysfunctions, based on the outline presented in The Religions of Tomorrow as a foundation for individual and collective healing. After a brief overview of Integral theory and Jung's theory of types, Janel Jiryu outlines how she uses the chakras, and traditional Buddhist and Zen / Chan healing modalities with individuals for healing. There are also exercises during each class and healing recommendations for outside of class. This course lays a foundation for future webinars continuing on these themes explores in more depth.
